We can provide support for any child to access therapy with any provider in Western Australia. This includes: speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and music therapy.
We can grant opportunities for the child to access regular therapy, multidisciplinary therapy and intensive therapy.
As a sponsor of rehabME therapy, you will receive an impact story showing the difference that your generosity has made to the child.
Where possible, we provide you with connection to your child / family throughout sponsorship.

What is Multidisciplinary Therapy?
Multidisciplinary Therapy is where a team of therapists are focused on creating a specific schedule of therapy offering multiple disciplines. That is a combination of one or more therapies - Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy and Massage.
The therapists work closely as a team, to create a specific, individualised plan to work towards a child's goals. Communicating results of treatment and changes in function for seamless carryover in subsequent treatment sessions with a child’s community therapists.
What is Regular Therapy?
Normal weekly or fortnightly therapy with their therapy provider of choice anywhere in Western Australia.
What is Intensive Rehabilitation?
Intensive Rehabilitation Therapy means that instead of the child visiting their therapist once a week or once a fortnight for one hour, the child is treated to intensive therapy every day for 2-3 hours for a total of 3-4 weeks. This is based on intensive rehabilitation models in the US and Europe and is to maximise the benefit of therapy for children with a neurological diagnosis. The 3-4 week ‘Intensive Physiotherapy’ program aims to improve the child’s strength, balance and muscle control whilst teaching new motor patterns through repetition and correct alignment. Physical gains made during these intensives often take months using the traditional weekly or fortnightly therapy model of practice. The SRBF aims to support families in this process by sponsoring a child and their family for the ‘intensive’ as they would otherwise be unable to access this treatment.
